Organisations are continually faced with the need to do more with less: to respond faster, reduce costs, add value and continually look to get the most qualified people in key roles. BWCS provided interim management support to KPN’s Belgian mobile subsidiary (BASE).
BWCS acted as Project Manager, integrated within the KPN team, for the Wholesale department during a major enterprise-wide replacement and upgrade of provisioning and billing systems. Using the usual BWCS philosophy of getting immersed in the team and stretching the team’s thinking we tackled our main tasks included coordination of the projects plans with commercial and technical teams, tracking project change requests, defining testing and migration acceptance criteria, managing pre-migration database rationalisation, tracking and reporting to IT and Management steering committees and communicating progress and deploying support IT systems to partners.
